Yarbasan estates in Bodrum has been brought to life with principles of traditional architeture, traditional materials, and traditional production, in order to create a texture of regional village life in the hopes of becoming an example that would further such architeture, thanks to the project’s partners Arif Obdan and my father Cuneyt Tanman.
All the stones used for building the houses, woodcarves, tile and glass mosaics, ceramics and stained glasses are all handmade and they are produced during the construction in the on-site workshops of the yarbasan estates.
